Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. Her family was in the southern part of London Council Estate. She was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She pursued acting studies at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She was on stage in many productions while attending school such as King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion-picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following that she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. She also had the opportunity to play the part in the role of Bambi on The ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe was a star in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 drama The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was revealed that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the two previous seasons, had decided to quit the show after a guest-appearance in the first episode of the new season. The actress played Tituba on the television program Salem between 2014 and. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked with each other on Salem and he had an appearance with her on that TV show.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty along with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks since the four brothers who were athletic played baseball, hockey, and both in the summer and winter. Ashley was never a walker, she danced, so when she was just two years old, she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. That was the start of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley competed in tap, jazz and ballet in the high divisions. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
