Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenezon September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. Her career began in Mexico where she played in the telenovela Teresa (1989-1991), and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), which earned her an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were just some of her numerous Hollywood credits. Hayek's character as Frida Kahlo painting artist in Frida (2002) which was a biographical documentary she made, earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6]. She also received her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award as well as British Academy Film Award nominations. In the following years, Hayek focused more on making films, while also starring in action-oriented movies like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
